Curriculum:
Our program uses the Wee Learn curriculum. Wee Learn is designed to offer children choices in learning centers, provide opportunities for problem solving, strengthen social skills, and give strong biblical foundations. This curriculum is also supplemented by regular teacher training sessions and other resources.
Children attend Music class once a week, where they sing, dance, learn basic music concepts, and learn that everyone was created to worship God. They also attend Art class once a week, where they are introduced to many forms of art, artists, and engage in exploration of various mediums and learn to reflect their Creator through their own artistic expression.
Three and Four year old classes use aspects of the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum that provides children opportunities to strengthen fine motor skills and provides a great advantage in transitioning to kindergarten.

Hyde Park Preschool is blessed to have an extraordinary teaching staff, and each one of our teachers views her position as a way to serve the Lord through serving these precious children and their families. We provide two teachers to every classroom and have two permanent "floaters" that help ensure that ratio stays the same, even when teachers have to be out. All of our teachers must:

- Complete CPR and First Aid training
- Complete FBI Fingerprinting and Background Checks
- Complete a minimum of 24 hours of annual training.
