WAIT LIST PROTOCOL
Placement into the CDC program is taken from the waiting list. The CDC office staff will provide families with wait list information, please contact the CDC office if you would a packet sent to you.
Once the completed wait list card and $200 fee has been received, your child will then become active on the wait list. The CDC office staff will contact families as spaces become available.
Please Note: Due to parental satisfaction with our staff and program, change in student enrollment is rare. Therefore, the waiting list moves slowly.
Please contact our center with any changes, i.e. address, phone, name updates, and birth dates.

Enrolling children at the HPBC CDC is a thoughtful and strategic process aimed at accommodating as many families as possible while maintaining a high standard of care and education. While our CDC is eager to welcome all children from the waitlist, it’s important to note that due to capacity limitations, this might not always be feasible. To ensure fairness and transparency the CDC employs a set of priorities that inform enrollment decisions.
First and foremost, currently enrolled families receive priority consideration, acknowledging the existing relationships and continuity for children. Following this, other families on the waitlist are considered. Our dedicated CDC staff members are given due consideration, recognizing their commitment to our center’s mission. Lastly, children affiliated with Hyde Park Schools and Hyde Park Baptist Church are enrolled completing the process with respect to our community ties. Through these processes, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment that meets the needs of our diverse CDC community.
