G.R.O.W. in a New Way

G.R.O.W. is an opportunity for each church member to participate one Monday each month as part of an outreach team to minister to our guests and members. Participants will take part in one of the four outreach opportunities:

  • Home Visits: Every guest should receive a visit from a G.R.O.W. team member or couple. We will also make hospital or other crisis-type visits.
  • Phone calls: G.R.O.W team members will call guests who have visited and/or members who have been absent.
  • Notes: Each guest and member who has been absent, ill, bereaved, or who needs special prayer and reassurance (via prayer cards) will be sent a handwritten note.
  • Prayer: This Team will pray for God’s power and blessing on the Teams’ efforts as they visit, call, and write.

G.R.O.W. Teams will meet at 6:00pm for a brief time of welcome, prayer, and instruction. Visitation teams should be prepared to leave by 6:15pm. Zones have been established to make this efficient by creating outreach centers convenient to the area in which you live or work.
