Friendship International is a ministry and Christian witness to women and children from around the world. For more than 30 years, international women have met at Hyde Park Baptist Church on Thursdays from 9:15 to 11:30am to share in fellowship and special programs designed for them. The program is free. Ten other Austin Baptist churches join with Hyde Park in sponsoring a wonderful ministry.
Last year about 260 women from 33 countries participated. Childcare is available for a small fee. The fall program begins Thursday, September 25 and concludes with a Christmas program on December 11. The program resumes January 29 and finishes with a Food Fair on May 7. All interested women are invited.
Friendship assists international families by:

- Helping them improve oral and written English skills
- Developing their creative skills
- Assisting their children in adjusting to American schools
