The Senior Adult Ministry is designed to reach senior adults for Jesus Christ through the Worship and Sunday Morning Bible Study programs of Hyde Park Baptist Church.


Through Sunday Morning Bible Studies, the leadership of these departments seek to offer a broad range of activities and studies to meet the needs of its members.


To promote the Church Mission Statement of Evangelizing, Educating, Edifying, Equipping and Exalting, senior adults minister through hospital visits, education, bereavement, encouragement, and fellowship.


Our objectives are to extend the love of the family of God to all senior adults within our church, and to reach out to senior adults in the community of Austin, Texas.

 

 

GET CONNECTED!

  • Sunday Morning Bible Study is a time where senior adults come together to learn about God's word, meet fellow believers, and share a time of fellowship. We offer several classes to meet the needs of senior adults, including a combined Bible study and individual Men's and Women's Bible Studies.

  • Mission Opportunities: provided by the Senior Adult Ministry allows individuals to become actively involved in sharing God's love and the gospel to the Austin community and outside the borders of our city. There are many activities for seniors to be involved in missions, such as community projects and prayer and mission groups.

  • Fellowship: The Senior Adult Ministry provides numerous activities for seniors to ecnourage growth and development with individuals of similar ages, ranging from trips, banquets, socials, and outreach opportunities.
